Pruitt Littles

we had such a fun day today.  mommy and daddy started the day with a fun couples photo shoot, and we're {anxiously} waiting to see how that turned out.  more on that at a later date. 

in the early afternoon daddy took emma to the park while mommy napped (yay!) and mommy joined them halfway into the outing.  we had fun!  emma loves the swings and slides.  we were there for about an hour once I got there, and they had already been out there for about an hour. 

once we finally tricked emma into going home (because she did not want to leave), she went down for a much needed nap, while mommy and daddy did lots and lots of housework.  

we waited ever so patiently for emma to wake up from her nap, and then took a fun family trip to the bellagio to visit the gardens with emma for the first time.  she. loved. it.  there were little birds that she couldn't stop looking at, and she was in awe of all the beautiful flowers and the bright and vivid colors.  she stayed in her stroller for about 10 minutes and then just had to be out to explore.  it was so fun to watch her as she took it all in.

we walked and walked and had such a peaceful and enjoyable experience.  it was a nice little workout too.  :)  after all was said and done, we left after a good hour and a half, and made our way towards marie callendar's...since we were all pretty hungry.  yumm.

everything was sooo good, and we got a bonus when we found out that kids eat free on saturdays!  yay!  emma received balloons, a coloring sheet, and all the food she could hope to eat.  she was treated like royalty tonight, and she sure behaved like such.  she was SUCH a good girl.  so good, in fact, that we lost track of the time, and realized that emma was an hour and a half late for bed.  so we had to hurry on out of there and get her to bed.  she was a gem the entire evening out.  it was refreshing for sure considering most of the time when we go out with her, she's usually ready within 20 minutes to go home.  lovely lovely lovely.  tonight was a night that mommy and daddy will treasure for many years to come.  tonight was a night that we never want to end.

emma got to bed by 9:30!  we were seriously having too much fun.  what a great night.  can't wait to have more Saturdays like today.  :)  we love our little pumpkin.
