.nails.

emma loves her grandpa. one of the reasons she loves him so much is because they get into trouble together. and, he does things for her that no one else will do. but this...shocked mommy!

when mommy was a little girl, maybe 5 or 6, grandpa absolutely forbid her from painting her nails with anything but clear nail polish. in fact, grandma took mommy to get nail polish and kind of bought the cutest teddy bear shaped, colored polish without grandpa knowing. grandpa found out about it and, needless to say, the colors went away and the clear one stayed.

with all this being said...about 2 weeks ago mommy walked into the kitchen and found this! emma had grabbed mommy's HOT PINK nail polish, gave it to grandpa...and without hesitation he began to paint her nails. he would do anything for emma girl! this was too cute not to take pictures. from these pictures she appears to be obsessed with pink. not so, she just happened to have hot pink glasses, legos, and nail polish that night. total coincidence. must have just been a 'pink' kind of night.
