i can't believe I'm saying this, but our little sweetheart turned 3 years old this month, on the 5th. ok, seriously, where has the time gone? our munchkin is no longer the baby of the family, and i'm not so sure how i feel about that. all i can say is we thank our Heavenly Father every single day for blessing us with her. she is so so perfect for us and brings laughter into our walls every single day. she's the sweetest big sister that just loves her baby with all her heart. she cries when Kylie cries, smiles when she smiles, and will do anything to make her happy...even if it means twirl around the room while making funny faces. she's in love with her little sis, and we love love love that about her!
daddy had to work on Emma's birthday, so we didn't do anything super special on that day. we planned on having a little play date fun with some of Emma's little friends the next day, so we decided to work together with grandma and prep for it on Wednesday.

And the next day, it was time to go play!! Thursday morning we packed up all the treats and juice boxes and headed out to tivoli village with grandma to play with friends! Emma absolutely loves all her friends and had a blast.

on Friday we had my mom watch Kylie so daddy and I could take Emma out on a birthday date. we were headed to Build-a-Bear in Henderson. So far, but we knew Emma would love it, and it was totally worth the drive! |

It was Emma's first time to Build-a-Bear and it did not disappoint! Emma LOVED it. It took a few minutes to figure out what was going on, but once she got to the dress up area she was in Heaven.

| .one of our sweetest friends, Alex, made Emma the most gorgeous Princess tower for her birthday. She did a Tinkerbell themed tower and Emma is still talking about it. she loved all the little goodies she found in these boxes, and daddy and I are in awe at the love that Alex has for Emma to do something so sweet for her. |
Emma,
I love you SO much. We have only had you in our family for 3 short years, and yet, I can't imagine what life was without you. You have made these the most exciting 3 years of my life, and I will forever be grateful to you for it. Daddy and I enjoy every moment with you, and even find ourselves talking about you with the biggest smiles on our faces every day LONG after you've gone to bed. You make our days. I can't wait to see what tomorrow, and next year, and 10 years from now will be like with you in our lives. Here's hoping the days crawl by so we have a chance to soak in every minute.
