We had quite a busy month, fun but super busy! Just a few weeks ago we took a family trip on a Friday, I think, to a pumpkin patch. It was Kylie's first time, and judging by the look on her face you can tell she was thrilled..or indifferent...one of the two. But mommy and daddy were thrilled, so, it works. :)
Emma had a little bit of a rough time, my guess is the heat was getting to her (why is it hot in Vegas in October?!) but she managed to have a couple of fun experiences while we were there. She just loved riding her pony.
She wasn't AS huge of a fan of the slide. But with Daddy's help she got through it.
Jay always plans our Halloween outfits. I'm not a fan of Halloween at all, but for him, I'll do anything. He wanted his 3 ladies to be princesses with him being our knight in shining armor. I hate spending money on costumes that we'll never use again, (and they're always so so expensive, too) and Emma was wanting to have a tutu...so we improvised and made our girls fairy princesses. I was going to make myself a tutu as well but Jay found a medieval princess dress via some ward friends at the last minute and insisted I wear it. (I told you I'll do anything for that man). It all worked out in the end. He got his family picture, got to show off his princesses at our ward's Halloween carnival (they didn't even do a trunk or treat!? bummed about that), and we called it good.
The next day Emma had a Halloween play date with some of her cute friends. These are the only good pictures I got from it though.
We had a great month! It was crazy busy, but lots of fun! Emma is still obsessed with her fairy wings and flower crown. She's definitely as girly as they come, and I love it!
